The reason being, Thanksgiving. Yes, the holiday is great and I love food, however my favorite part about the month is all of the positive notes and statuses I see on Facebook on a daily basis from my closest friends. There has been a new viral trend in which people post something they are grateful for everyday leading up to Thanksgiving day. I have noticed everyone seems to be genuinely happier this whole month, and I believe it is because we think about all the great things life has given us, but why does it have to to stop there?
I have created a new challenge for myself and I welcome you all to join me! I have decided to start every day thinking about one thing I am grateful for a that moment in time. It gives me extra motivation to getting out of bed (I'm not a morning person) and I start my day feeling positive. If you're not feeling your happiest, try and start the day with eating a banana! Studies have shown that bananas release dopamine.
Today I'm feeling grateful for my extensive education thus far. What about you?
